We need volunteers to contribute to the business of running The Union. If you have any interest, please volunteer for an EA committee. You can perform committee work on-the-clock, and it is billable as EA release time. If you join a committee, you will contribute directly to the operation of the EA, and as a result, you will have a direct impact on maintaining and improving the quality of our workplace. You will act as a liaison for your fellow employees, build your leadership skills, and gain a deeper understanding for the dynamics of the Air District.

Committee Responsibilities
Constitution & Bylaws Committee Reviews and makes recommendations to the EA Board to update the bylaws.
Archive Committee is responsible for maintaining and documenting the history of the EA.
Grievance Committee Manages, reviews and reports to the EA Board the status of current grievances.
Meet & Confer Committee Studies and makes recommendations on working conditions, employer-employee relations, including wages, benefits, work hours, etc.
Nomination & Recruitment Committee Helps identify and recruit future EA leaders.
Finance Committee Oversees and conducts audits of Board activity.
